HISTORY
Vincentien occupies the northernmost reaches of Amoroth; a kingdom built of rugged cliffsides and sheets of ice. It produces next to no natural resources besides precious gems and metals, and as a result cultivated a huge shipping industry to supply it's court with supplies. Originally founded and held by House Victor, a once prosperous house, it's been on the fall since the death of it's Duke. Amalthea Victor now sits at the head of the house, though the duchy was ruined beyond repair at the hands of Durkhan during her marriage to Duke Vincent. The duchy boasts a frozen exterior to mirror the hearts of its citizens, and it's been mined nearly hollow over the years.
Amalthea Victor has been missing for 2 years now, with the Court at Victor's Rest ruling in her stead. Both the Duchess and Heir are through to be dead, and a new head of Vincentien will be chosen this spring.

HOUSE VICTOR
Victor's Rest sits at the highest cliffside in Vincentien, overseeing the ports that supply the city and kingdom with supplies. The ports are well maintained by the nobility of the collective court- and affectionately known as 'The Crescent' for it's distinct curvature. The shores of Victor's Rest are dangerous to traverse, and tend to lead to wreckage piling up on the shores by untrained sailors. Victor's Rest is founded primarily on heavy slave trade, though after the exile of Durkhan from the city, slave trade trickled to a halt.
Many of the citizenry of Vincentien was sold into slavery to accommodate the loss of new bodies, and has since struggled to recover without a true ruler.
HOUSE VICTOR
CONQUEST OVER BLOOD
As an Amorothian territory, the structure of leadership doesn't particularly follow the same methods as those traditionally seen in Marin. Vincentien chooses it's leaders by conquest and power over blood, happily overturning true blooded individuals for those of more fitting traits for the house. Those who take control of the court are awarded the title of 'Victor' and serve as the ruler of Vincentien until their death or they are overthrown.
