Tredor took the title of 'Lord' at the age of 33, when his own father passed away. By that time, he already had two sons, Thierou and Tobias, with a third child on the way.

A year into his lordship, his wife passed away, leaving him with an infant daughter and a keep to run. Nurses took on the task of the children's upbringing, while he focused on the unrest in Northwind.

The Westbrooks were not above the effects of the nations lack of structure, however, he found comfort in his faith in the gods.

After all, with their keep among the highest peaks in Northwind, the Westbrooks were closer to the gods for a reason.
